The name “Angelique” is came from Angel Lique, who first discovered this beautiful tulip. Struck but it’s stunning color and delicate ruffled feathers, she declared, “I shall name this tulip Angelique!” That’s probably not true, but it could be because no one really knows where the name came from. However, it IS a very beautiful “peony-style” tulip that has become a favorite on the farm.

Popular late-bloomer Angelique Tulip Pink boasts an impressive double-ruffled look, with stems reaching between 16-20″ in size.
