This October, Tulip Valley Farms bloomed on the global stage, earning the prestigious title of “World’s Most Scenic Tulip U-Pick” at the World Tulip Summit in The Hague, Netherlands. This honor celebrates not only the beauty of our farm but also our dedication to creating an immersive and unforgettable experience for all our visitors.
Our founder and CEO, Andrew Miller, proudly accepted the award during a memorable ceremony. Presenting the award was U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands, Shefali Razdan Duggal. Sharing the stage with tulip enthusiasts and industry leaders from across the globe, we are so grateful for the tulip community that has supported us and the visitors who have helped make Tulip Valley Farms a cherished destination.
New Connections and Fresh Inspiration
The World Tulip Summit was more than just an awards ceremony—it was an opportunity to connect and collaborate with some of the most innovative minds in the tulip industry. Andrew, alongside his wife (and head designer) Holly and sister Vanessa (tech, marketing, programs, problem solver), met with tulip bulb growers, experience curators, and tourism experts. These connections sparked exciting ideas and partnerships that we can’t wait to share with you in the coming seasons.
One highlight of the trip was an exclusive off-season tour of Keukenhof, often called the most beautiful spring garden in the world. Walking through its iconic paths and learning about its intricate designs gave our team a wealth of inspiration for the 2025 Tulip Valley Farms spring experience.
Additionally, the team explored the charming Holland area of Amsterdam, soaking in the Dutch passion for tulips, art, and sustainability. From canal-side flower markets to innovative garden designs, these experiences are shaping our vision for even more vibrant and engaging displays right here in the Skagit Valley.
