Two women digging up tulip bulbs

Dig Day at Tulip Valley Farms

Every year, bargain gardeners and flower lovers flock to Tulip Valley Farms for one of the farm’s most anticipated events of the season — Dig Day! This year’s event takes place Saturday, June 6th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., giving guests the rare opportunity to dig tulip and daffodil bulbs straight from our gardens and take them home for fall planting.

A Farming Experience

For just $42 for the first bucket and $25 for each additional bucket, visitors can fill up on beautiful bulbs at a fraction of retail garden center prices. Guests should bring their own trowels and gardening gloves, while the farm provides the buckets and transport bags for easy storage and travel home.

Reserve your bucket now!

Dig Day has become a favorite tradition for families, gardening enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity in the Skagit Valley. Kids love digging through the fields searching for bulbs, while experienced gardeners appreciate the chance to stock up on healthy, field-grown tulip and daffodil bulbs.

Visitors will also have the chance to meet Farmer Andrew, ask questions about bulb care, planting tips, and learn more about what goes into growing the vibrant spring blooms that make Skagit Valley famous.

Because all of the flowers are bloomed out, it will be a bit of mystery of what you'll be planting at home, which makes it even more fun! However, if you want to know exactly what you're getting/planting, order from our online bulb catalog and bulbs will be shipped to you in the fall. We only offer the best performers and favorite tulips and daffodils, so get them while you can!

Whether you’re creating a colorful flower bed, expanding your garden on a budget, or simply looking for a unique family outing, Dig Day at Tulip Valley Farms is a can’t-miss event for gardeners of all ages.
