Kids & Dogs Welcome at Tulip Valley Farms

Tulip Valley Farms isn’t a garden. It’s a working farm, designed to be explored, learned from, and enjoyed together. Kids and dogs are welcome here, and the experience is intentionally built to make families feel comfortable spending time in the fields.

Visiting with Dogs

Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome at Tulip Valley Farms with the purchase of a $5 Pet Pass (flat rate, not per pet). We ask dog owners to be mindful that not all guests are comfortable around dogs and to help keep this a respectful, shared space for everyone.

Our Micro Mini Highland Cows are often curious about dogs, but not all dogs feel the same way. For the safety of both the cows and your pet, please keep dogs away from the cow pen if they appear nervous, reactive, or overly excited.

Dogs must remain on leash at all times while on the farm.

Visiting with Kids

Kids are welcome to be kids at Tulip Valley Farms. We've designed a hands-on, interactive tulip experience that encourages children to explore, learn about farming, and enjoy the outdoors in a meaningful way.

Children are invited to walk through the fields, observe the farm animals, participate in U-Pick, and learn through Tulip Talks and the self-guided audio tour. While kids are encouraged to explore, adult supervision at all times is important.

Tickets for Children

  • Children ages 3 to 15 require a child ticket.
  • Guests 16 and older require an adult ticket.
